Season : July and August 2008

Since 2003 I establish my summer quarters in Ossau Valley around Laruns.
It's firstly for the extraordinary quality and variety of Ossau and Tena valleys I choosed to install me in these Pyrenees valleys. I still form a team with François Clair to propose you the best our mountains can offer.

Canyoning

Alchimy born from the mix of climbing, caving and the fun of playing in live water, the canyoning is the queen of hot summer days activities in our mountains.

With its great variety of canyons the Pyrénées-Atlantique and specially the Ossau Valley are a perfect playground for a sport or family discovery of the activity but also to go more far in exploration and strong sensations.

For this reason from initiation to sport or family canyoning to technics learning, we propose a panel of high quality canyonsfor the higher pleasure from childs to real sport(wo)men, where high sensations are guaranted. You have a description of these canyons in the "canyons" pan.

climbing

Discovery of sports climbing is the aim of summer sessions estivales with basic technics learning to, as soon as in the first session, discover climbing soul and sensations. We practice climbing on cliffs and natural rocks in Ossau Valley (Arudy, Pont de Camps...) but also in Aspe valley or Spain which are so close.

the canyons

• Canyon of Soussouéou : Real natural aqualand, Soussouéou is a real jewel for initiation to canyoning in Pyrenees. Jumps, slides and abseiling succeed for the biggest pleasure of all. And bigger is the water floww, better it is, it would justify to itself a season of canyon in the Valley of Ossau. (+ infos)
  
• Canyon of Cap de Pount : Small concentrate of canyon, perfect for familial initiation. The canyon of Cap de Pount take place in a fantastic landscape at the bottom of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau which would justify to himself the downing. (+ infos)
• Gorges of Bitet Supérieur : Short but technical canyon court , the Bitet Supérieur is great for learning of basic technics of canyoning. Taking place in a short but nice narrow limstone gorge, it offers some surprises, including an antology slidder. (+ infos)
  
• Gorges of Bitet inférieur : Credit where credit's due, Bitet Inférieur is the pearl of the valley, one of the most beautiful canyons of Pyrenees. Impressive abseilings, jumps, biefs and waterfalls are linked with rhythm to propose us a sports canyon in which nothing misses, not even alarming Oscuros. No doubt, Bitet Inférieur is a must, an inavoidable for all the amateurs of canyoning. (+ d'infos)
• Barranco of Escarra : Just behind the pass of Pourtalet, it is an atmosphere from Sierra of Guara that expects for those who will have had the courage to go at the end of the impressive march to approach the Barranco d' Escarra. Easy but varied canyon, with a very nice arrival.
• Barranco of Calderes : To the amateurs of strong water and big abseilings, Barranco de Calderes offers all the ingredients for memorable day in the magnificent frame of Balnearios de Panticosa. A sports canyon for the amateurs of the genre.
• Pays Basque, Aragon (Spain) : And for those who would like to go farther to the discovery of more canyons, we propose the canyons of the Basque country (Pixta, Olhaduby) if the watterflows allow it or of Aragon (Sierra de Guara, Mont Perdu...).
